ABOUT
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on the day to day lives of young people in a multitude of ways. This third and final episode of the series is co-hosted by Christina Amofa, a graduate law student from the University of Warwick. Christina interviews three fellow university students from different backgrounds to delve into some of the unique issues that young adults have faced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We hear from young people about the impact the pandemic has had on mental health, barriers for vaccine uptake including lack of trust, the impact on education, the risks faced by medical students who fell into a grey area for Covid-19 vaccine prioritisation, views on vaccine passports, uncertainty in the workforce, and their perceptions of public health measures more generally. These illuminating stories highlight the need to empower young people to voice their concerns and offer any solutions they might have to improve global health policy in future.
