Beatriz Hernandez de Fuhr

Beatriz Hernandez de Fuhr is an information specialist and a researcher at KVINFO, the Danish Centre for Information on Gender, Equality and Diversity. Beatriz has worked for many years developing social and cultural programmes for international organisations, and she continues in this role with KVINFO’s Mentor Network. The mentor network is a programme for immigrant and refugee women, which has more than 5000 members representing over 135 nationalities – the largest of its kind in the world. Prior to joining KVINFO in 2008, she worked in international public affairs and corporate social responsibility at Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. Beatriz has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University and postgraduate degree from the Danish Royal School of Library and Information Science.
