Billy Briggs is a freelance journalist from Scotland who focuses on human rights issues. He's written for The Guardian, The Observer, The Sunday Times and Scotland On Sunday - among others - and his journalism has won awards from Amnesty International and the European Union. He's a founding director at investigative website, The Ferret.
