Will Carter
Will is an aid worker and researcher. Currently he is a Senior Researcher for a three-year DFID-funded project ‘Secure Access in Volatile Environments’ (www.humanitarianoutcomes.org/save), in which he focuses on ‘Aid Quality and Access’ for case studies of Afghanistan and Syria. He read Arabic and Philosophy at Durham University, travelling and working in Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Turkey. Now, concurrently, he pursues a PhD on how peace and conflict is manifest within and affects community social relations, and is also an aspiring documentary photographer interested in uncovered social, environmental and humanitarian issues (www.willcarterphoto.com).
