Nike Jung

Nike Jung is a PhD candidate at the Film and Television department at the University of Warwick, supervised by Professors Stella Bruzzi and John King. Her thesis carries the unwieldy working title: "Fiction Cinema and Documentary Evidence/Absence: Imagining Torture in contemporary Chilean and US film." She has published a book, "Narrating Violence in Post-9/11 Action Cinema”; In 2014 she organised a conference on “Voice and Silence: Beyond the Rhetorics of Pain.” Nike is a Berlin native, a foodie and a cat lover. She lives in London.
