Charlie Spring

Dr Charlie Spring is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sheffield, currently working on an action research project to coproduce digital resources for urban food activism. Her PhD was an ethnographic critique of surplus food redistribution as solution to food poverty, including a WCMT Fellowship to the US and Canada. She coordinates the measurement and monitoring activity of the Greater Manchester Food Poverty Alliance. At home, she likes to experiment with compost and kombucha.
