Emily Scurrah
Emily Scurrah is an activist, community worker and commentator on protest and resistance movements. She has been involved in the anti-austerity movement, has worked supporting asylum seekers all over the UK and has carried out research into grassroots resistance groups for her Masters study at SOAS. She currently campaigns with people-powered campaigning group 38 Degrees, and spends lots of her spare time taking part in various anti-neoliberal collectives and reading about the cultural dynamics of political resistance - when she's not dancing to fabulously empowering tunes with her friends.
