Kirsten McConnachie
Kirsten McConnachie is an Assistant Professor in the school of Law at the University of Warwick. She has researched and worked with refugees from Myanmar since 2007, with extensive fieldwork in Thailand, Malaysia and India. Her book “Governing Refugees” (Routledge 2014) examines the work of Karen refugees in camp management and dispute resolution in refugee camps on the Thai-Burma border. It was awarded the Socio-Legal Studies Association early career book prize for 2015
