Lorenzo Genito
Lorenzo Genito is a PhD candidate and seminar teacher at the Politics and International Studies Department of the University of Warwick. His research interests lie in the field of International Political Economy, and his current study examines the role of the bond markets during the Eurozone crisis. EU politics has always been at the heart of Lorenzo’s research agenda, which led him to move to Brussels after the completion of his MA at the University of Sussex in 2012. In Brussels, Lorenzo worked in the European Parliament as researcher at the European Parliamentary Research Service, providing economic- and scientific-related policy information to the Members of the European Parliament. Lorenzo has also obtained experience in public affairs, working on behalf of high-profile clients in the fields of energy, data protection and environmental policy at the EU level.
