Melissa Pawson

Melissa is a freelance journalist based between Jordan and the UK. She covers migration, human rights and the climate crisis in Jordan, Syria, Turkey and Greece and her work has been featured in The New Humanitarian, openDemocracy, Al Jazeera and Middle East Eye. She holds a Master's degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights, and has previously worked with refugee rights organisations in Greece and France.
