Michaelina Jakala

Michaelina Jakala is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR) at Coventry University, UK. She holds a PhD in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford and has been living and/or working in Bosnia for the past 13 years. Her interests lie in the everyday experiences of transitional justice, peacebuilding, gender, and belonging in post-war contexts. She is currently working with colleagues at CTPSR, University College London and in Bosnian organisations to further explore the issues of former underage fighters.
