Alec Spencer

Alec Spencer is the Development Officer at West Cheshire Foodbank and the GM Living Wage Campaign Co-ordinator with Church Action on Poverty. He has written for The Guardian and is the author of research published by the Universities of Oxford and Chester that looks at the reasons why people turn to foodbanks. He is the co-founder of initiatives including the West Cheshire Poverty Truth Commission and the Welcome Network, which is part of Feeding Britain.
